Satlked By Phony Online Book Clud reported a Scammer/Fraudster (8006069214 from area, ). The following comments were posted: They used my name when I answered the phone. They are associated with an online scam I got trapped in a few years ago when I purchased a used book online. They never sent me any info about the "club" after I supposedly joined it--not by email or by snail mail. I discovered it after they had taken monthly club payments out of my bank account. The caller claimed to be with a collection agency and that I owe "one more monthly payment" to this scam of a club. When the caller said the name of the scammers company, I recognized it, but dont remember it now. At that time I lived in another state.
