CC reported a Collection Agency (2015434000 from HACKENSACK area, NJ). The following comments were posted: For years, weve paid our mortgage (loan held by Wells Fargo) at the end of the month with our typical bill-pay cycle. This falls after the due date of the 15th, but before the end of the grace period. A number of months ago, we received a call after the payment had been made but before Wells showed it in their records. As it was nearing the end of the grace period, a courtesy call was acceptable. But, the rep seemed to be dissatisfied with our "payment has already been made" answer, and was very pushy ("Well, when will we receive it?" "Why didnt you pay it earlier?" etc). She persisted until we hung up after saying, "Asked and answered. Now, this conversation is over." Again, since we were still within the grace period, her attitude was NOT acceptable. Now, this month, only TWO days after the DUE DATE (nowhere near the end of the grace period), we received several calls from a Wells representative. We called back the same day and politely asked her to take a look at our payment record. She could see we typically pay at the end of the month. We told her we would do the same this month and thanked her for the courtesy call. Next day, she called us five times - "We just want to make sure you are going to pay." EVERY day since then, they have called five to seven times. We have never missed a payment or defaulted on our loan, AND we have excellent credit, so Im not sure what has changed to warrant this harassment!
