Nemesis reported a Scammer/Fraudster (5089550285 from CHILMARK area, MA). The following comments were posted: This is a pay day loan scam out of amadad in India. They use aggressive threatening tactics to extort anywhere from $300 to $1000 from a prospective victim. They usually have certain personal information like SS numbers, work phone numbers, family member names and addresses. They have an extremely poor grasp of US civil vs Criminal law and seem not to know that the crime they claim is a civil matter and as the money involved is so low it would be a small claims court issue. Big tip off is these people have heavy indian accents yet use reall generic Anglo American names. There are so many ways to trip them up its comical. Once you catch them in a mistake or lie they will usually threaten to rape and kill you, your wifeor daughters. At that point tell them youve recorded the conversation and that Interpol and Homeland security are now involved. Referencing internal security with no power outside our borders ( FBI, FTC, IC3, CCC, DA etc) wont phase them. Referencing Interpol or Homeland security will.
