Collection Agency calling from 336-609-7636 (GREENSBORO, NC)

J Chapman reported a Collection Agency (3366097636 from GREENSBORO area, NC). The following comments were posted: I work for the local police department where I live and received two calls back to back from this number. The person who was of indian descent was asking for a Michael Kelley who clearly does not work with us. The caller refused to believe that he had contacted the police department and stated "then if you do not know this person why the fornicate are you wasting my time, I then disconnected. The representative called back immediately and started demanding to be transfered to the Michael Kelley subject and again I explained that he did not work here and they had again contacted the police department and the representative became irate and then I hang up on him. I called the number that came up in our system and the same representative answered and I requested to speak with a supervisor. He became very irate and refused to do so and started telling me "you are stupis, shut up, shut up, shut up". He then kept asking my name and why I was calling to which I replied "so you are not going to transfer me to a supervisor," to which he replied "no". I then tried to explain that it was a federal law that if someone calls a debt collector and asks to speak with a supervisor that they are obligated to do so. He became even more irate and started cursing at me stating he did not have to transfer me to a supervisor. I then disconnected and searched for the business which showed to be GFF Legal Department. I found out they are located in Greensborough, NC near the intersection of Cumberland St and Buford St. I will be calling the Greensborough Police Department to file a complaint about this company you can be assured of that.
